Did someone on here mention they like Duffy? I am considering getting her album, does anyone recommend it?

Yes, as Gerre says, I really like Duffy too, I bought her album on the back of hearing Mercy on the radio - definitely worth the spend - great album!!

Hmm, I think Duffy, I am also going to re-purchase Manic Street Preacher's first album, as I like them! And not sure... I just dont get to hear about too much stuff! May be Coldplay's new album!
Mike likes the Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson and I got him a Marc Bolan album and James Blunt recently!

Yeah get back into the Holy Bible! It's an awesome album.

Little Jackie may be too "pop" for you... normally they would be for me(as you probably know im rooted in Soul/blues/jazz music predominantly) but i digress im addicted laugh.gif

ok here's youtube link of Little Jackie's first single The World Should Revolve Around Me

although i like the song i can see (with its release) me becoming a little less fond of it bcoz it will become a lil too "commercial" for my liking but i still love it..however self indulgent it is laugh.gif

im loving other songs by them like "Liked You Better Before" , "Go Hard or Go Home" , "The Stoop" , "Lol" ...ok im just obsessed laugh.gif but ive always loved quirky Imani Coppola smile.gif

Little Jackie's Myspace Page

you can sample the album here:
Little Jackie on Amazon

also you heard of or are a fan of "My Morning Jacket" ??? sample them here too: My Morning Jacket on Amazon

im loving "Im Amazed"

Yah, I'd love a mix CD! Don't worry about the time it takes to send it. I believe Milo ages well with time, does it not?

Hahaha you don't "do" youtube. Whyfor?

I don't think it's too poppy. It's pretty good, just a little bit poppy. Poppy with a little bit of an edge.

I like My Morning Jacket, they're nice and jammy. *sigh*

I've been addicted to this song lately:

To this day, I have no idea who was singing it that got it stuck so hard into my head.
