He hasn't updated it much lately, but today I saw this funny post comparing a nature walk in Tokyo, to a nature walk in Canada. Who knew that Tokyo could be just as lush and green as the wilds of eastern Ontario? Check it out and just try to tell me that you wouldn't trade anything to visit Tokyo for a day. When I was there, I saw buildings and neon, and lots and lots of people. I don't recall seeing much nature. I suppose there could have been some on the outskirts? Or maybe parks or something. I wouldn't call it bleak though, it was very vibrant.
