Hi,
I am Amonil, I am from India. Thanks for giving good information about India. I have also the information about many places in India like Mount abu, Kanyakumary, Kashmir.
Kashmir :
"Kashmir" referred only to the valley lying between the Great Himalayas and the Pir Panjal range.
Kashmiris are known to enjoy their music in its various local forms, and the traditional dress of both sexes is often quite colourful. The Dumhal is a famous dance in Kashmir, performed by men of the Wattal region. The women perform the Rouff, another folk dance. Kashmir has been noted for its fine arts for centuries, including poetry and handicrafts. Kashmiri cuisine is famous for its vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes. There are also variants between Hindu and Muslim cooking. Traditional Kashmiri food includes dum aloo, tzaman (a solid cottage cheese), rogan josh (lamb cooked in heavy spices), zaam dod (curd), yakhayn (lamb cooked incurd with mild spices), hakh (a spinach-like leaf), rista-gushtava (minced meat balls in tomato and curd curry) and of course the signature rice which is particular to Asian cultures. The traditional wazwan feast involves cooking meat or vegetables, usually mutton, in several different ways.
Mount Abu
Mount Abu is a hill station in Rajasthan,it is located at an elevation of 1220 meters. It has been a popular retreat from the heat of Rajasthan. The Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1960 and covers 290 kmē of the mountain.Mount Abu is home to a number of Jain temples. The Dilwara Temples are a complex of temples, carved of white marble, that were built between the 11th and 13th centuries AD. The oldest of these is the Vimal Vasahi temple, built in 1031 AD by Vimal Shah and dedicated to the first of the Jain Tirthankaras. The Lun Vasahi Temple were built in 1231 AD by the brothers Vastupal and Tejpal, who belonged to the Porwal Jain community. They were ministers of Raja Vir Dhawal, a local ruler of Gujarat.Nakki Lake is another popular visitor attraction of Mount Abu.There is the Toad Rock on a hill near the lake.
[/b]Kanya Kumari
Kanya Kumari is a town in Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu state, India. A popular tourist place in India, the town and the district, Kanyakumari District, in which it is located, is a place of great natural beauty - from the blue seas of Kanyakumari town to the blue hills of the Western Ghats in the interior.Though there are several places of tourist-interest in the town and district, Kanyakumari is especially popular in India for its spectacular and unique sunrise and sunset. The confluence of three ocean bodies - the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea - makes the sunrise and sunset even more special. On balmy, full-moon evenings, (locally called Chitra Pournami) one can also see the moon-rise and sunset at the same time - on either side of the horizon.
India has many Hill station like Manali, Nainital, Ooty, Gulmarg, Darjeeling and so many. India has many things to see Indian culture,Festival, Indian folk Art hyper.gif
