We'll be driving from Denver to Rapid City with our 2 boys, 8 & 11 yrs old and would like to know if there are any points of interest along the way. Weird, quirky or just plain tacky would be fine. It's a 6+ hr drive and interesting stops along the way would be great.

Well, there are two cities that look interesting along the way...Casper and Cheyenne. Have you looked into these places yet?

Sorry, can't help with the "on the way" part...but if you need idea's for Rapid City and Area...I have tons!! I plan itineraries and such for Nebraska and SD. There will be a lot there for you to do! How long are you staying? I also know someone who would give you an interesting tour of the Indian Reservation. (No cost for the ideas, since I offered)
