Hey everyone i was told about this site and to check it out. I am thinking of moving to Australia from the USA, Tenn. I am just tired of everything here. I am pretty much going to narrow it down. I have nothing here and I feel like traveling. I am going to go to queensland (golden coast) i was wondering if you can tell me if its hard to find work there in the computer field or fitness field. crazy.gif

So when are you thinking of moving "Down Under" or are you in the early stages of planning your move?

Hi Alex,

You won't have any problems finding work, things are bubbling there nicely at the moment.

But you say you 'feel like travelling'. If that's the case I'd say get your visa sorted and do a few months in the mines over in WA. You'll make a small fortune and can spend the rest of the time having the time of your life around the more palatable parts ('work to live, don't live to work' and all that.) By this time you'll have had a good taste of Australia and can assess whether or not the grass is really greener. Like everywhere else, it's not always for everyone.

Good luck mate..

Hey - a couple of my friends did pretty much the same thing last year... the fitness industry is pretty massive in Oz, if you head to somewhere like Brissie then you should have little trouble getting a job in a gym or something.

Go for it mate, I think you'll love it!
