We are looking for bus information to travel from Santiago to Los Angeles in August this year. I can't find any details on tur bus and pullman bus doesn't give me any options to select route.
Has anyone travelled this way before? Also we would then want to make our way down to Queulat but again, having trouble finding bus information.

I presume you mean Los Angeles, Chile, not Los Angeles, California.

This is the site for buses in Chile:
http://www.gochile.cl/Info/Xporte/Bus.asp
Type in Los Angles, or whatever, and it gives you the names of all the companies that operate that route. It only gives phone numbers, not web sites. The larger bus companies will have web sites, so just copy and paste the name of the bus company you are interested in followed by the word chile, and Google it.

eg: cruz del sur chile produces: http://www.busescruzdelsur.cl/CDS.htm

Good luck
Martin

If you do mean LA, CA then I would recommend the 14 hour flight through Lima, Peru on Lan Chile vs. a bus. Not exactly budget, but you get there way faster.
