Depending on when you want to travel to Canada and specifically where, I would take clothing suitable for the temperatures. As for anything else, you can pretty well buy what you need. What would you like to specifically know about schools (K-12 or university)? As for the lifestyle, it can vary depending on where in Canada someone lives. It would help if you could be a bit more specific in terms of your questions....
