Hello,

We are starting a round th world trip with 3 children in July in Ecuador.

Before we hit the road, we'd like to have a bit of a relaxing time on a beach... anybody knows of a nice beach at this season ?

Hmmm... never been to Ecuador, but here's a list of beaches. Where do you plan on staying?

Salinas is by far the easiest beach to reach from Guayaquil. It's a great beach, but due to its easy acessibility, it can become busy in high season.

If you want to get away from day trippers, you might try Manta, further up the coast. Here are some blogs from Travelpoders who have been there.

Last, but not least, just south of the frontier is the Peruvian beach area of Mancora. Much cheaper than Ecuador, and right on your route if going south.

I liked the beach in the Atacames. There is actually a commuter airport close by and a short taxi ride to the beach. Rooms are cheap (you can pay alot if you want though) and there are plenty of restaurants and clubs on the beach. Guided boat tours, and other attractions are there as well. hope you find this somewhat helpful.

I have only ever heard of people going to Salinas, it is supposed to be amazing there. But like you said it may be more costly...
