we are two italian families, planning a trip to georgia driving our camping cars (campers), We would like to have some informations about the security of places, also regarding our spending the night inside our campers. Is there any place where it is better not to go? here in italy it's quite difficult to get such kind of informations. For example , it is said that it's better not to go to Mestia, in Svanetis.

I think campers are not indangerouse in the whole territory of the former USSR, Georgia including. I would not do it in Russia also. Roads are especially criminalized places. You can camb, but not on the roads!

Thanks for your comments, can you give us any other information where it is possible to rest in the night? Two years ago we went to russia, we always stopped in closed parkings (for TIR) or in hotels' parkings. I read that some campers last year stopped nearor inside some monastery, i don't know where, do you know anything about?
