I was wondering if there were any hostels so that a person could stay a month "female"

Hello Penny,

Why ever would you want to stay for a month in Tapachula? It's a pretty awful place, unless you are going to volunteer. There's a great film about the Mara Salvatrucha in Tapachula called "Sin Nombre". You may learn something by watching it. You can get it on Netflix or Blockbuster.
