Hello,
I'm interested in publishing a book about our recent trip thought Travelpod. The problem is, when I preview it, the map that keeps showing up is wrong. This map has us flying Edmonton, Vancouver across Canada, Africa and then to Hong Kong. We flew Edmonton, Vancouver and then directly to Hong Kong. Is there some way to change this map to the correct route?

Thank you for your response.
Penny

One unrelated problem is an entry marked as being in Edmonton on November 13th. This error will also make your map pins and lines wrong.

For the lines not crossing the pacific, I tried to reproduce it on my own blog and I did not have the same result....very strange.

I will have one of my colleagues give it a try tomorrow and we will get back to you!

Cheers!

Hi,

We use google maps on the site and a custom mapping program for our trip books and so does Sharedbooks who produce the books.
A small difference in the routing algorithm is choosing over the pacific in one and over the atlantic in the other. If you set a *map pin only entry* in the middle pacific, it should probably work on both.

Cheers
