I just saw this email forward posted on a blog site:

“The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or the Americans. On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or the Americans.

The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or the Americans. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or the Americans.

Conclusion: Eat and drink what you like. It’s speaking English that kills you.”

Hahaha!

Seriously though, what is it? Why are English-speaking people fat?

haha I don't know how I can describe it.
It just seems like everyone's always making up excuses to not do something. It's easier to them to work 9 to 5 in a cubicle, eat fast food for lunch, then come home and heat up frozen diner, watch tv/play video games, then sleep - everyday routine.
The food americans eat and the nonactive lifestyle is a big issue.
Some might even work a second job to afford that Ferrari he or she wanted. bah.

Spot on. Seems that a large chunk of society blames their problems on everyone else; or expects people to do things for them whilst they do nothing. There is always an excuse why they can't do something. Always. They think the world owes them something.

For example, how many of us work(ed) with someone who hates their job, but won't look to do something else, not because they can't, but because they won't. Or the person who is very overweight, but won't eat healthy or actually exercise. They find some excuse not to. Then end up trying to sue McDonalds.

Time people took responsibility for themselves. The world would be a much better place if we did. It's people like that who change the world. People who get off their arses and do something.
