Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 28-February 10 Member No.: 794781 Nominate me as a Local Expert	I want to travel by bus from Rio to Iguazu Falls. Is the best way to buy a bus ticket to buy the ticket in Rio or is it a purchase I can make easily over the internet? How long is the bus trip? Are there buses every day? Where in Rio do i buy the ticket? Thanks for your help. Ev

Vagabond Group: Local Expert Posts: 1527 Joined: 12-December 06 From: Scotland Member No.: 30044	Hiya, You can only buy Brazilian bus tickets online if you are in possession of a Brazilian ID card (i.e if you are Brazilian - which I'm guessing you're not ) You can but tickets for the day of travel, directly at the bus station (or via your hostel/hotel accommodation in Rio) As long as it's not a busy period (Christmas/New Year/Carnaval) you can get a ticket easily. The buses run every day and you'll have a couple of options available to you - just ask in your hostel for the timetable (It takes approx. 22 hours direct by bus) -------------------- Scotland & Ireland Dots round Europe & A Brazilian New Year The Big Trip! & Israel
