Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 20-February 10 Member No.: 770361 Nominate me as a Local Expert	Hello everyone, I am a newbie to this site and my wife and I will be going to Punta Gorda at the end of March. Just wondering if anyone has info for this area. Also, the small resort we are staying at has tours that average $90 US/person. Is this expensive or is that typical? Any information and recommendations will really help. Thanks, Rob P

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 20-February 10 Member No.: 770361 Nominate me as a Local Expert	well my wife and I returned from Punta Gorda, Belize and it was absolutely amazing. No phone, no internet and best of all was the Caves and Reef. It was a working a vacation in the fact that everyday we were hiking through caves or walking around ruins. We even went to a Mayan Baptism BBQ; the fresh made tortilla's were fabulous. This was a great trip.
