angel1.gif I have booked a day tour from Brussels to Amsterdam and the tour Company keep mentioning a visa. I am Australian. What is it and why is it required? Where do you obtain one if I am required to get it.

It's probably a Schengen visa, here's a link to some general information:

Mmm, I'm 99% positive that you don't need a visa if you are aussie and enter the shengen zone for touristic purposes (meaning that your stay is not longer than 90days)

You may know that in the EU there are no custom checks anymore, you pass freely from one country to another. So if you're going by bus or train there is no problem.
When flying of course the police/customs take a look at your passport, but anyway with an aussie passport you're safe!

Yeah I don't think you need a visa either, but I'm assuming she's staying longer than 90 days....
