Hello dear TravelPod members . Mexico is celebrating 200 years of the beginning of the War of Independence and a 100 years of the beginning of the Mexican Revolution this year and I'd like to invite you to the party.

Please check here for any event that might be happening while you're visiting (or maybe plan a visit around an event). Also check for the tourist secretariat (or commission or whatever) of any state (or city if it's big enough) you might be visiting to see if they have planned anything special too.

Hopefully some of you can come to Mexico City in September because it's going to be awesome.
