The picture on the article shows a very old couple kissing.
All I can see is hyper.gif ...flesh and wrinkles, and just can't understand what this picture has to do with the article. READ THE ARTICLE:

Anyway, do you consider yourselves big spenders when travelling?
And please forgive me for the comments I made about that kiss! But do you think I am cruel here? I would put a poster with souvenirs instead of this! Don't you agree?

Well, I don't know what the poster has to do with the article either laugh.gif - but since it's there I think its nice - I hope to still be kissing when I'm older, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

As for being a big spender - the answer would have to be no, not at home or when travelling, although I know these things are all relative. I rarely buy souvenirs or stay in luxury hotels etc. I do spend money on hire cars and other things that in truth are luxuries such as entrance fees to historical ruins etc.

Big spender? Nah. Maybe if I had the money. But I like being at the budget end. It's more fun.

I'm a very heavy spender when on holiday. I used to be far more budget concious but no longer need to be as I get older.

I don't like wasting money on hotels though- one thing I don't intend to do while away is spend my time in a hotel.

There are times when I do want to spend time in a hotel. It depends on the hotel though. If it is a 5 star hotel I do want to enjoy the luxury of my stay. If it is on a nice beach and I have F/B I don't care much if I go out but take advantage of the whole package, relax and enjoy my stay.

On a central city hotel when my aim is sightseeing and getting to know the city, then indeed I am out most of the time.
