Hi there,
I would have loved to have met up with you all, but unfortunately (and fortunately for me too!) I am moving back to Scotland in 2 weeks, so I won't be in Dublin when you arrive. Instead, here are a few of my personal favourite city centre pubs:
O'Donoghues (known famously for its great live music)
The Church (trendy restored church, north side of the river)
Gogarty's (Temple Bar, plus live music upstairs)
The Brazen Head (Ireland's oldest pub dating back to 1198 - they do a mean Irish stew as well

It's a 10 minute walk west of the centre, but worth it - closish to the Guinness Storehouse though)
Also, the Guinness Storehouse has a special St Patrick's Day event, but you'll probably have to get tickets in advance - if you book online they're doing a 10% discount at the moment

Here is a link to info on their event:
Guinness StorehouseI hope you have a brilliant time, and I'm sure you will. Enjoy Paddies Day, it is fab, and I'm gutted to be missing it this year - have a Guinness for me
