Hey my name is Cheyan and I am a newbie to travel!

I am ready to take my first tour with Karikuy (www.karikuy.org) and I am wondering if anyone else has taken a tour with them and if so, how was your experience?

As a first time traveller to Peru any feedback would be greatly appreciated :-)

We depart the city of Cusco at 5 am driving past the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo. Arriving at Mollepata (approx 8 am) we begin our hike up to the high part of town until reaching Cruz Pata where we will have lunch.

I traveled with Karikuy back in August, they were great! I booked a tour with a group of friends and they customized our trip. Booking was simple, just email correspondences, booking by paypal online. When we arrived our guides were very nice, we had a different guide for each location and we had a blast. I found them through google search, there was not much info on them so I was reluctant but once I called them and began putting our trip together it was a breeze. I very highly recommend them. Also recommend to spend more time in Lima, food there is amazing, cuisine is worth the airfare alone.
