Hello hello,

In four weeks i'm travelling to NZ with hubby and kids and have booked a camperhome van thingy from Auckland down to Christchurch to take three weeks.

Any ideas of good places to stay, see or go to, safety that sort of thing:-))

Many thanks

That's a big ask................check my videos on You Tube -
Go to their website and type "newzealandtraveler" into their search engine.
Twenty two videos of all the South Island......................

In the North island there is:

Bay of Islands
Rotorua
Coromandel Peninsula
Napier
Wellington

as a partial list.................

hi,hope you are having a good trip.by now you will have started, I live in Christchurch so can reccomend some top places to visit.
kaiteriteri, about 80 km from Nelson. Awsome golden sand beach, nice bay and on the edge of a cool national park. take a boat ride to appreciate this .There are water taxis in the area.
travel through the west coast for some great scenery. But watch out for the sand flies!
The central, lakes are a huge feature of the south Island, especially in the summer!.so check out queenstown a tourist mecca. Also lake Wanaka, suggest traveling to Glendhu bay for a good camping ground. Also Omarama hot pools well worth a visit. Then head on to lake benmore which is 12 km from twizel.Dont forget to check out Mt cook view form lake pukaki. Its awsome but only in good weather. Ypull also like lake tekapo although a cold lake. Dont forgrt arrowtown 20 km from Queens town, has better weather and awsum river, try the pipe line track for a few 100 meters, awsum view.
Frpm chch you will enjoy Akaroa a french village by the sea 80 km from chch. Also lots to do in chch. enjoy.
