How long would it take to travel by car from:

Brienz to Geneva
Brienz to Zurich
Brienz to Bern

is it difficult to travel if you dont have GPS? and is it safe to travel by night, or you can get lost easily?

Well, according to Google, it is approximately 1 hour to Bern, 2.5 to Geneva, and 1.5 to Zürich. Traveling around Switzerland is not difficult without a GPS but you do have to pay attention to signs. Highways merge and split frequently around the big cities so just make sure you are always in the correct lane. The three cities you listed are all well-signed on the autobahn so I don't think you would have much trouble getting around. Traveling at night is also fine. Most of the highways here are great, though if you are going in or through mountains these roads are narrower with twists and turns. But they are still safe to drive at night.

Could you tell me more about the weather? we are going to be in Brienz from the 17th of February to 24th of February.

I would say it will be cold! February is one of the coldest of winter and Brienz is nestled in the mountains ... but at least you will have some nice snow to play in.

Thank you so much for this information. Do you have any suggestions as to what to do in these areas on these dates? I tried looking for lake cruises but i dont think they operate in february...
