Maybe I will go there someday, but all I know is that it is far away from the mainland, and has lots of coral (pink) beaches.

What else is there to do there? How long would you spend there? What are the most amazing things to do?

I went to Bermuda a few years ago and absoletly loved it! I went on my honeymoon, we stayed at the 9 Beaches resorts where you stay in Cabanas. It was cool and fun but not good if you want a more luxuries accomodations. The dockyards were fun to wander around at, there is a glass blowing place there that had some really cool glass stuff. I swam with the dolphins at dolphin quest at the dockyards. It was kind of expensive for such a short amount of time. I've heard from other people that it isn't as good as other dolphin swims. Spent some time wandering Hamilton, and taking the ferries around the island. We didn't do much for water sports since it was a little chilly while we were there. Its a fun island, the people were great, kind of spendy but worth it. I would recomend going there at some point in your travels!!

We stayed for seven nights. We went just before the busy season began so there weren't very many people. I could have stayed there forever but unfortunately my husband made me leave crying_anim02.gif I would recommend it to anyone!!

Well ya know, boring things like work and getting paid!! But I figured I would just get a job there, live on the beach for awhile till I had some money to rent a place. I had it all planned out then he comes in with all reality checks!

Don't know if you've made it to Bermuda since your original post in October, but the GLOBETROTTERS visited the island in April 2008 and had a blast. You must rent a scooter and travel the entire island. Really, you can do this in one day. We had so much fun on the scooter, we kept it an additional day.

We also stayed at 9 Beaches. The best! The tented cabanas are awesome, especially when it rains. Very romantic. The grounds are kind of rustic, so if you're looking for luxury, stay some place else. However, the staff is extraordinary. If you stay there, try a private dinner on one of their private beaches. They only do one per night, so book it before you leave.

The locals are extremely friendly and the towns are clean and colorful. We will return to Bermuda some day. Until then, we've got great memories and photos.

Very nice, thanks for the tips, but no I didn't go to Bermuda, unfortunately. Wow, I totally changed my travel plans since then.
