Hi there,
we're in Khao Lak doing some volunteer english teaching for the next 2-3 weeks. The place is lovely but a bit quiet - if anyone is in the area and fancies meeting up get in touch!

Hi,

We are travelling to Khao Lak later in the year - do you have any recommendations on good restaurants in the village?

there are loads, depending on what you're after - plenty of Thai and plenty of western stuff. Walkers Inn does both well, plus an all you can eat BBQ for 200baht every monday, weds and saturday. There are a few bamboo hut places that do good and very cheap food, incl stuff like pad thai and papaya salad from 30baht too.

Hi, thanks for your concerns, maybe in the month of April after the Holly week were going to visit Khao Lak, with the timeshare relief vacationers, can you help us to find a comfortable yet affordable hotel and any restaurant in the place that served traditional Vietnam food.

hi there, i would recommend the Walkers Inn. They have big comfy rooms, good food, and do discount for volunteers if you ask.

As for Vietnamese food - i haven't seen any in Khao Lak but there is plenty of tasty Thai food to try!
