Hi. I'm 16, and this summer I知 pretty sure I知 doing a 6-week summer exchange program. I know I want to go to North America, but I知 not sure what country to go to. I have to have 3 choices, and these are the countries I have to choose from...

Canada
Mexico
Costa Rica

I know my 1st choice is going to be Canada, and I'm not sure about the 2nd or 3rd choice
I was thinking maybe Mexico as a 2nd choice, then Costa Rica or Cuba as 3rd

Can someone who has traveled to these countries give me some advice?
I'm a 16-year-old girl, and I speak a little French (very little)
I want somewhere that I would have fun, and would give me a good experience

Thanks a lot!

Quebec City and Montreal (in Quebec, Canada) could be very interesting destinations for you because people does speak English AND French in here.

Personally I really liked the Nova Scotia area. Very unique scenery and very nice people.

Canada is great, a lot of sight seeing

The best cities to go to would be

Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Vancouver

you will be able to find a lot of stuff to and you will have a great time

I would suggest Toronto Canada (and all nearby attractions - travel by bus or rental car) you will love the scenery. Canadians very helpful and hospitable people - they love tourists. May be this link would help you to what to visit in Toronto http://www.cheapcitypasses.com/toronto.php

I second Halifax. If you base yourself in Halifax you can visit MANY places around Nova Scotia very easily. Annapolis Royal was where the first settlers came to Canada in 1605. Southern Nova Scotia is also very rich in Acadian (french settlers) culture and Acadian french is still spoken. There is even a french university in Church Point. People are very friendly and I would feel quite safe in Nova Scotia. I am originally from BC, but my husband and I moved to Nova Scotia and we LOVE it here!

Hopefully this helps!
