My hand is raised...I am a serial traveller...

I am booking another trip (for June) before I have even begun my trip in February. I find that I am already thinking about where I want to go next (before I even begin a trip that I have already booked). I get excited about future trips and not really think about the one I am about to embark on (until the last minute)

Does anybody else do this?

Are you a serial traveller?

I do the same thing. I was planning my RTW trip before I had gone to Egypt. And then booked a cruise between the two and already kind of have ideas where I want to go the next 5 years or so. Haha, you're not alone.

I also sign in yes.gif Rani.
I have been doing this the last 2 years booking a trip every month, and even having two trips in the same month during summer.

To be honest I need to stay a bit at home as I have missed it a lot, - I have already been to Cyprus twice since September, and I am flying there again in February. Besides I need to lose 4 kilos urgently! girl_cray2.gif I need this rest before I am soon out again.
I will know where I will be heading to, in about 2 months from now.....where will it be (east or west).
I am searching the net and reading other members blogs to get ideas right now.
Very soon I will be out again..... poke.gif yes.gif

Hmmmm, yeah me too.....every opportunity I get... I started out the new year already thinking about 4 potential trips this year...

1. A weekend in February - my boyfriend is surprising me, so I have no 'control' over that and currently have no idea where we're going...
2. A long weekend in Italy in May - this was a definite - going to a wedding, so that is all booked now.
3. A weekend around August (to repay the boyf. surprise trip, with one for him wink.gif )
4. At the end of the year, taking a 2 week break, and was thinking perhaps Cuba....

....then....I found out I have 8.5 days holiday to take between ending my current job and starting my new one, so.......what's a girl to do...? Of course.....searched a bit, and I'm now off to Israel in March laugh.gif

Do we need help? laugh.gif

I would like to add my name to the list and get help if it is offered.

I travel extensively in SA for work but when I want to relax - I travel.
I have the problem that I want to go everywhere - so I sometimes find that I have more travel requirements than I do leave : crying_anim02.gif

Oh well, what's a girl to do.

Cool, will do Paula!

Rani - what's the deal with the passport stamp? I've been reading mixed reviews and see recommendations for getting a bit of paper stamped in the passport, rather than the passport. However, I LOVE having stamps in my PP!

The countries I've seen listed don't include Dubai - can you fill me in from your view?

hahahahaha... I thought I was the only one. For me, a LOT of the fun of traveliing is in the planning stage. Before retirement, I was a researcher/analyst by trade, and I guess the old workhorse habits are still strong, because I check out books, google like crazy, read blogs and forums, and collect all kindsof data before deciding exactly when I'll go and what to do/where to stay once there. Sometimes the mode of transportation is one of the trip highlights. Anyway, leaving today for a mon th in Florida, and already started planning for an April week in NYC! With maybe a long weekend in the Outer Banks in March thrown in (just got that bug in my brain last night).

(sigh) and maybe one day before I die I'll even go to some of those exotic places you youngsters keep talking about!!
