How does the recent situation in Kenya affect American tavel insurance coverage out there?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: 22-January 08 Member No.: 130223 Nominate me as a Local Expert	I know the revision of Britain's travel advisory now entitles British citiens travelling to Kenya to be covered by their travel insurance companies. Does anyone have any info on coverage to Americans? Companies I had contacted here, tell me that because the situation began before the time I would be travelling ( even though I am not travelling in areas of 'current' conflict) that their cancellation policy, as well as others would not be in effect. Do any Travel Insurance companies in America cover us out there currently? This seems unfair. Thank you.
