Hi all,
My partner and I are doing a RTW trip starting in April. We are planning on getting into SE Asia In early July and want to include an organised trip of China on our itinerary -prefebably as the first thing we do in the region so we are not then rushing around conscious of getting somewhere for the start of the trip.
We fly into Singapore initially and the China trip starts in either Hong Kong or Beijing. I can find cheap flights from Singapore to Hong Kong but would then need to get from Beijing down into SE Asia again after the trip (not fussed where although Hanoi would make sense).
I cannot seem to find any cheap flights out of Beijing and the only hope seems to be the train down to Hanoi which seems to take 2 nights constant travelling....!
Does anyone have any alternative ways of doing this trip or comments about that particular train route (ease / comfort etc)?
Thanks!!
