Planning on a week in holland after christmas and into the new year. here's what i'm thinking for places to go. i would greatly appreciate any feedback people with experience traveling (or living) there can provide in terms of places to skip, spend more time at, add, etc.

Day 1: Amsterdam
Day 2: Amsterdam
Day 3, 4, 5 and 6: Planning on doing some day trips and/or overnight's. Places that sound interesting are rotterdam, kasteel de haar, kinderdijk, den haag, and haarlem. (this is the area that I could use some suggestions in!!)
Day 7: Amsterdam (New Year's Day)
Day 8: Amsterdam
Day 9: afternoon flight home.

I really enjoyed the Netherlands. I think that Amsterdam has so much to offer and its really easy to spend alot of time there. Visit the musuems, galleries, canals, flower shops, cheese factories, Red Light district, parks, Dam Square and I made a side trip to Utrect that I loved. It's a college town and has a quaint feel to it.
