Last year we went through San Isidro and it was great! Two years ago we went through Manuel Antonio following the coast (costanera sur). The latest takes alittle longer and there is an unpaved section between Manuel Antonio and Dominical (half an hour). We had a rental car, both ways you can expect a 4 hour ride. You can also get a flight from San Jose to Palmar sur which is about 20 minutes from Uvita. Feel free to email with questions Denis
