Women can pray at Mecca but there is a seperate area (as it is in any mosque). You will find that the majority are men though You have to be muslim to do umrah or haj and a special Umrah/Haj Visa is issued to those travelling to Saudi for the pilgrammage. There are to Eid's each year. One straight after Ramadam and one approx 2 months later, which is a celebration. -------------------- If you really look like your passport photo, you need the holiday!
