Hey everyone, my husband and I were just looking at new ideas for travel. I know the Mexico thing seems to have been overdone but I have heard some great things about Baja. Does anyone know of anywhere around there?

Here are some travel blogs about Baja, these people look like they had fun there. I see some beautiful deserts and amazing road trip possibilities.

If you get a chance check out the National Parks of

San Pedro Martir and Parque Nacional Constitution de 1857

Both are incredible. San Pedro Martir has the Observatory and tons of wildlife. Parque Nacional Constitution has two lakes-The largest being Laguna Hansen.

Both have monster pine trees for miles and are completely different from anything else in Baja. It feels more like Northern California or Oregon than Mexico to me. blink.gif blink.gif

Close to the Baja is Sonora, a beautiful state that is waiting to be discovered. There is a guest ranch for adventure and nature travellers that is highly recommended. They have lake, river, canyon, mountain and other amenities. Their website is tierrachamahuaecoadventures.com. Definately worth a look. They are also very close to the Arizona border.
