Got to ask
Why is it that when people visit England they HAVE to visit London (just as they HAVE to visit PAris when they go to France)

London (and Paris) is just one city and is not the whole country but when we go on vacation and meet other folk especially it has to be said Americans they are so blinkered in their views of our wonderful country because they have been to London.

I love to get them excited by other things they have missed and think that some of them are really so limited to what they understand because oftheir nationality
So more power to people who write about England as a whole not just London which has the biggest mix of cultures that it cannot be described as English anymore.

That's one of the reasons why they come to London I guess. I agree people should see more than London/Stonehenge/Stratford/Edinburgh, but I'm guilty of visiting the main places in some countries myself. Guess it's a matter of time constraints and not knowing about cool places outside of the "tourist trail".
