From Peru to Ecuador

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 4 Joined: 12-December 09 Member No.: 574751 Nominate me as a Local Expert	We would like to take a bus from Trujillo Peru to Guayaquil Ecuador. I have read some conflicting things about how easy that will be. Any first hand advice? Recommendations of bus companies? We would idealy want to stay on the same bus as we cross the border into Ecuador. Any safety concerns we need to know about? From what I have read it seems going through Tumbes would be our route.
