I have been searching the newspapers for days now to see where the Athens Bazars are taking place, but only now I found the article.

Many of these Bazars are made for charity, and women and children in different societies sell interesting staff. Sometimes it is christmas decorations. Last year I went to a bazar where second hand goods were sold, and I was impressed by the quality of the goods.

The article here shows in detail the name of the street and district the bazar is taking place for the whole month. So, anybody travelling to Athens might find this helpful.

Some of the bazars take place in Libraries, schools and squares. Find everything you need here. Open :

That's really interesting. I didn't think that the Christmas Bazar tradition extends down to Greece. Is that Greek tradition as well? Do you have any pictures of these bazars especially the more quaint ones?

I am working on a blog on Christmas Markets in Europe starting from Germany and seeking to identify them all over Europe. I have been to many of the major ones but obviously not all. Unfortunately the Christmas Market traditions are so local, that any write ups about them that are really good are only in the relevant local language.

Hi
No, I have no photos unfortunately at the moment. Sorry I cannot help you.
I could have taken some, but I will be flying to Cyprus in 2 days,so I don't think I have time to visit these places.

Athens is good not only for vacation. Our best convention was in Athens. Excellent business hotels with all meetings facilities, exlusive services, and historical side of Athens. Find on facebook the page of Athens convention bureau, become a fan and then u will have all and fresh informations without spending long time looking for them. It was helpfull for us when we were planning our convention there.
