Having arrived in Canberra I now have a few weeks to fill. I am told that the coast is more suited to the young and couples. Is this so? Is there a good way of travelling for older girls on their own?

I'm not sure you could say ANY places is "suited" to a certain type of person. Wherever you go is what you make it.

It all depends on what your interests are.

That being said, I looked around on the blogs for something that might interest you and I found this blog about Canberra:

Tell us what you're interested in, and we'll be able to give you some more specific ideas.

suelli - what types of things are you interested in doing whilst you're in the area? This is probably a better judgement than age (because you're only as old as you feel, right?)
