Newbie Group: Members Posts: 6 Joined: 28-August 09 Member No.: 302931 Nominate me as a Local Expert	HI, I am wondering if anyone knows of other towns similar to Ashville,NC or Arcata,CA or the Channon, NSW Au What I like about these smaller towns is that they are supportive of small businesses, you don't see mc donalds signs high in the air, and there are great farmers markets I am interested in finding a place to start a homestead that is biking distance to a farmers market( I love the town square in Arcata) or a small town with great public transportation I am also looking for land $5-20 thousand an acre. and I am looking for 2-10 acres. thanks
