Hi everyone
I'm planning to go to Mozanbique in January/February. I've checked accomodation's prices on the internet and seem that there are very little choices and all quite expensive. My plan is to travel from north to south by car, stop for a few days at Bazaruto and Quirimbas arcipelagos.
Has anyone done a similar trip? Any advice on nice B&B or hotels not listed on the iternet? How is the situation in terms of safety?

Hi Fran,
You can discuss this topic through the Mozambique Froum which is found in Destinations/ Africa/ Mozambique.
I haven't been too far north but I'd recommend not spending too much time in Maputo. The country side is really nice but I actually felt abit threatened going into the city (and if you're driving yourself - be mean about it because they will just go whether or not you care or the traffic lights dictate anything sometimes too!)
The beaches are the best though so I hope you enjoy your trip
