Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Dubai (i live here). There is plenty to do and see.

You are coming at a great time, where the weather is cooler (particularly for desert 4WD) and everyone sits outside socialising....

I see...why do you feel naughty? Do people give you looks?

I don't know I just feel naughty because it is such a taboo meat here in the region....most people shopping are expats, but sometimes you pass a local and you can see them watching you.....

I can't understand it though because the locals eat beef or veal bacon, which is gross....if something is haram (or forbidden) why eat something that tastes and looks similar

welcome to UAE, it's great time to come actually I live in Ras Alkhaimah 1hour drive from Dubai and this time you come is wonderful at deserts. I will go for two weeks and come to Ras Alkhaimah in 14Jan feel free to contact me if you like a desert adventure, I don't have 4wd car but I can manage it lol jump.gif
