Vagabond Group: Local Expert Posts: 1527 Joined: 12-December 06 From: Scotland Member No.: 30044	You can go from Krabi to Surat Thani by bus, and then get the boat to Koh Pha Ngan - that's really the only way to do it. I did the night cargo boat from Surat Thani to Koh Samui, which I wouldn't recommend as it was roasting hot and there were cockroaches. I think it was cheaper than the day boat, but that's not why I did it - it was down to the timings of the buses and boats. In saying that I wouldn't recommend it though, the journey to Koh Pha Ngan is longer, and their boat was bigger and had an outdoor area, so it might be better... -------------------- Scotland & Ireland Dots round Europe & A Brazilian New Year The Big Trip! & Israel
