Does anyone have any recommended hotels in Bratislava? Am travelling there with a few nervous travelling friends - anti hostel types, which is fine but a stack of hotels seem to keep cropping up on websites for Bucks nights which is not really what im keen on seeing in Bratislava!!

Any recommendations, just a mid range hotel is great, not too pricey not super cheap (sigh).. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, it does sound good.. but what i was after was a hotel not a hostel (those sneaky words with just an S between them..) Hostels are great for me, but am travelling with some friends who will only stay in a hotel..

Hi, just got back from Bratislava and the UFO restaurant/club was great! Very funky with a great view over the city and super attentive and lovely staff. Great food, great atmosphere, great place.. and not very pricey at all..

rather boringly we ended up staying in the Ibis.. our friends (first trip away) freaked out and thought all the accomodation would be booked out so just went and booked! I think they laughed at themselves later on though!

Still we all liked Bratislava and had a great time, thanks for your help..!
