Hi Andy,

I'm currently in WA and spent a good few days down in Esperance on the south coast a couple of weeks ago. The beaches were fantastic and there was a hostel and campground more or less on the beach - so would definitely recommend. As for surfing, you might want to try Margaret River out on the west coast, apparently it's a bit of a hot spot for surfing, as are the surrounding beaches. Look out for Gnarabup, Redgate and Suicides.

Good luck.. thumbsup.png

Hey Andrea,

I'm camping at Rottnest in January. As there's only one campsite I assume that you stayed there.

What was it like?

Also Andy, there's a hostel across the road from Cottesloe beach in Perth that's pretty cool. Nice beach too

where are you coming from? if it is around perth you are eyeing close to.. that could be..Bunbury Village by Discovery Holiday parks, the "fine" type of campground about 2hours south of perth.like 6 km from the Center. The best base for bunbury holiday.
or you can go upward for the Fonty's Pool campground. budget priced park. the do not have a website so you can reach Fonty's (08) 9771 2105

Hi Andy
Yes live in WA there is Campsites near beaches if your going south near Margaret River there is a campsite near Prevelly Beach and also one in geographe bay. Its a great place to surf has loads of wineries and Breweries check out this website www.staymargaretriver.com.au for accommodation and info on the Margaret river, Busselton and Dunsborough region.

Have a good time
