I'm currently in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. I had my passport stolen on the bus trip here and will be recieving a new one in the next few days. So obviously when my new passport arrives it will be lacking a Chile entry stamp.
Does anyone having experience or info on obtaining a new entry stamp for Chile within the country. Our next stop is Bolivia and we don't like the idea of approaching the border without a stamp.

That is quite the circumstance. Your best bet is contacting your embassy, I would say.
Otherwise, I think you'll just have to explain what happened to the border guards. I'm sure they could infer what happened anyway, by just looking at the printed date on your passport.
It would probably also help if you saved your boarding passes or tickets into Chile.

That's a good point Louise.
Nevertheless, if your passport is issued in Chile by the consulate, the border post can hardly expect you to have a Chilean entry stamp. Indeed the consulate that issues the new document should be able to tell you what to do. I'm sure you are not the first one to have had a passport stolen.
