Tripper Group: Local Expert Posts: 2002 Joined: 4-June 06 Member No.: 2195	I was in Bratislava just a couple of days ago. The new town is pretty awful, but the old town is very attractive. There doesn't seem all that much to do, and we just spent a few hours there on a stop-over between Vienna and Budapest. Didn't see the Arcadia, but at least it's in the historical centre and comes up No. 2 on Trip Advisor, so it can't be all that bad. -------------------- .

The Old Town is quite cool and you get a great view from the castle. Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 8-August 10 Member No.: 1215351 Nominate me as a Local Expert	We stayed at the Botel on the water 3 blocks from town. it was great but the restaurant is only indian food and no air conditioning. restaurants in town take cash.
