Where are good places to stay in Bratislava in March? I saw the hotel Arcadia, anyone stayed there before?

I was in Bratislava just a couple of days ago. The new town is pretty awful, but the old town is very attractive. There doesn't seem all that much to do, and we just spent a few hours there on a stop-over between Vienna and Budapest.

Didn't see the Arcadia, but at least it's in the historical centre and comes up No. 2 on Trip Advisor, so it can't be all that bad.

I was also there recently but only spent a half day there. The Old Town is quite cool and you get a great view from the castle. But I can't make any recommendations on where to stay, sorry sad.gif

We stayed in Prague for a weekend during our honeymoon and LOVED IT. we also went to Vienna and really adored it there. We Spent most of our honeymoon and Budapest and really had a great time so I had high hopes for Bratislava, but is sounding a little far-off now.

We stayed at the Botel on the water 3 blocks from town. it was great but the restaurant is only indian food and no air conditioning. restaurants in town take cash.
