Hi,

I'm a first time trekker planning on starting small with the Ghandruk Loop this October and I have a couple of questions.

1) Can anyone recommend a trekking agency to book this through?
2) Should I book this trek in Kathmandu or can I do it in Pokhara?
3) Can I do this trek in timberland boots or do I need sneaker or hiking shoes?

Any ideas or suggestions will be welcome.

If you book a trekking agency in kathmandu, it may cost you a large sum of money for your trekking. If you are planning a backpacking trek, then, you can choose an independant guide for your trek. It is more fun and interesting. It is really afforable as well.
