I have a problem on 2 entries, thanks to Kris for pointing this out:
- Santiago, Chile, june 7th 2007
- Cordoba, Argentina, june 17th 2007

I am using classic maps, the countries and map pins are set correctly.

The problem is: in the "show trip route" google map, the map pins are defaulted to Santiago and Cordoba in SPAIN instead of being in Chile and Argentina
I would say that the problem extends to the fact that they are not where I tell them to be! (I did re-set my map pins).

Good catch. We're fixing this now.

This has been fixed... you'll need to go in and reset those 2 x map pins but this shouldn't happen again.

I even set the entry to Equatorial guinea, it works fine on the classic map on the entry page, but the "show trip route" still shows it in spanish Santiago.

How do the links actually work? Do you have to wait for someone to set a map pin to that location before other people can search. Just wondering because I just spent about 2 hours altering all my map pins for China and Laos and most of the places weren't found.

Actually we query several databases to find the cities including several Google databases.

I just find it weird that places like Lijiang and Lhasa aren't found.
