Hello there, my name is Christian and I am 18 years old. I will be doing another interrail trip this year (once again alone!) and my budget is low so I thought I would go to somewhere in Eastern Europe.

If anyone has tried this I kindly ask them if they could advice me on certain destinations that could be characterized as:
Giving a good value for your money
relatively safe

also do you recommend a specific hostel you have been to?

I, like Malya, would really recommend going to Ukraine too. Except for those two prominent and ancient cities like Kiev and Odessa (Kharkov), I would also mention nonetheless intersting and historical city L'vov which is also interesting with its architecture and very beautiful especially in spring. But if you like comfort I'd recommend only Kiev and Odessa.
Malya was right, hotels are pretty expensive and are not worth the money people pay, so best alternative would be apartments to rent (just type in Google: "Odessa Apartments" for Odessa and "Kiev Apartments" for Kiev and chose the most professional and best apartment agency - be careful when chosing and deal with those who react fast and most professionally).
