Hello there, my name is Christian and I am 18 years old. I will be doing another interrail trip this year (once again alone!) and my budget is low so I thought I would go to somewhere in Eastern Europe.

If anyone has tried this I kindly ask them if they could advice me on certain destinations that could be characterized as:
Giving a good value for your money
relatively safe

also do you recommend a specific hostel you have been to?

Hello, saw your entry about your housemate going to Bosnia and Croatia...did she go to Sarajevo? My husband and I are going to Croatia for 8 days and have five left in our plans and trying to decide where to spend the rest of the five days. We fly back out of Dubrovnik so have to go back that way...thanks, Ann

Well if u are coming back out of Dubrovnik, it would be easier to go to Bosnia. I have done the same, first go to Mostar, with stop in Pocitelj (it is on the way to Mostar, little place- just beautiful). Mostar is increadible beautiful in my opinion-but could be very warm-so be prepared.Anyway, there are lots of caffes and restaurants near river in the old part of town. Bosnia is cheaper than Croatia, thou. After Mostar, our next destination was 2 hous drive, Sarajevo-I believe you heard lots about. Anyway, I really like food and caffe and people are also very friendly. My experinece was more than positive-hope this helps you. Cheers, Mary
