blink.gif I have a big question here. It is hard to put it in words since I am not sure how to describe it best but mabye if you put under search angelwings you come to my travelblog. What you see then if you scroll down is you see 7 or 8 of the welcome picture ,the welcome page.

I think this happens every time when I create a new entry and upload new pictures into the new entry for a new travel.

I don't know how I can avoid it if I update my travellog as this is very confusing for me and for my people who visit my side. There told me, which link do I have to click.

And I am wondering myself why every time I have created a new entry it automatically is shown when people come to the first side. Can I just only have one and people go further to my side when clicking on it and then they see all my entries...

sick.png Well, not sure if you understand me but it would be great if you can help me angel1.gif thank you

Hi Angelwings,

I've just checked your blog and there is only one travelogue 'welcome picture' displayed, it's the same as the one you've uploaded as your profile photo - i.e. there are now two pictures of blue sky displayed. Is this correct?

From your travelogue welcome page there will be two options: 'Continue' and 'Jump to latest entry', one pointing straight to the beginning of your travelogue, the other to the most recent entry. Whichever option is selected by your readers, a list of ALL entries will be displayed at the bottom of the current entry, regardless. From there they can select exactly which entry they would like to read by clicking on it.

Hope this helps cos' I'm guessing that's what you mean. If you're still stuck, please let us know. Nice pics by the way.. thumbsup.png

Hi Scott,
Thanks a million for having a look at my blog and the problem I have been trying to explain. I have attached a printscreen this time. I hope you can open it up and see what I tried to explain here. It's like that. If I go to the www.travelpod.com. Then I have the option to search for travelblogs.
So in search I put in my name "angelwings" and press SEARCH...... then I or friends to find me would come to the next page.

This page I have printscreend so you can see what I mean and the way my friends have viewed it and told me it is very confusing for them.

They see (as I do) 8 times the welcome picture (the sky with the cloud) We can see it actually 8 times...
They asked me on which they have to click on to come to my actual travel blog

Hm, well I don't know .... how to get rid of the 8 time welcome pictures and just have one . When you are on the actual travel blog you just see ones the welcome page picture as you described it.

Great that you liked my pictures. I viewed a few of yours. They are great. Good eye for a good click smile.gif

Well, maybe this time it is a bit more specific and with the printscreen you will see what I mean blink.gif
Cheerio

Angel,

this is no duplication: if you search for your name in the general search, there will be many results, say for example one result for each entry.
The intended use of the search page is not to access your travelpod, I think.

Here are two other options for your readers:

1- access www.travelpod.com/members/angelwing (they can save it as favourite in their browser, or you can send them an email with a link)

2- access travelpod.com, go to the "Our Travellers" section, and search angelwing from there.

But as said scott, as soon as you access ANY of your entries, there is a list of entries at the bottom of the page, that is what you need to point out to your readers and they'll be fine.

You could always change the drop down list next to search to "members" rather than "travelblogs"
