Hello All,

Just to give you an idea of who I am....I am an American Air Traffic Controller working as a contracter in Afghanistan. I am looking forward to my vaction in Italy with my girlfriend so much and I really want to do it right! Here is the plan....I am going to Venice, Italy in Sep. I have a week to hang out there before getting on a cruise that takes my girlfriend and I through the Medditeranean for a week. I am really confused as to where to book my hotel. From my reading on the internet it looks as if San Marco is the nicest because it is the most expensive....but I am trying to find out if there are other places really close to all the action that may be a little more affordable yet better value for the money.

Also I am a big fan of Techno/ Trance music and so is my girlfriend. Having been to alot of Armin Van Buuren/ Paul Oakenfold/ Abover and Beyond shows I am looking for a cool club/disco techa to go to in Venice that plays that kind of music. Anyone know any?

Any other suggestions are very appreciated. I am looking to make this very special for my girl and I. I have not seen her for 8 months since I left Korea where we were once stationed together when we were in the United States Air Force.

I return very right from Venice ! I left with my girl too and I found that very dazzlingl!!!
In fact if you like romantism you'll be glad !!!
There's so much to see ! I mean, we went there during a week in may and we didn't do half of the things we should.We were accomodated in a 3 star hotel near the Rialto bridge
(One eats very well in Italy).
When we prepared our journey, we thought about what we could once on the spot.
We would like to visit but make an organized tour .
So my girl check a web site where you can booked tour in Venice.
First, I thought that it would be boring, but it was very good !
