I think this guy is truly an inspiration! Jean beliveau left his home in Montreal, Canada on August 18th 2000. He aim; to walk around the globe to promote "Peace and non-violence to the profit of the children of the world". Wow! What an amazingly aspiration. This walk, they say, will take 12 years! His journey began in North America and continues like this: to South America from S.A. to Europe from Europe to the Middle East from M.E. to Eastern Asia from E.A. to Australia from Aus to New Zealand from N.Z. back home to Canada! I am always so taken with people who do such wonderful things to bring attention to those less fortunate. Check out his website and get inspired! But I didn't had experience to walk with a 18 kg backpack. Pfffhhh. I realized it needs some training... Who can tell me which company made the trolly, Jean Beliveau takes with him? It's an interesting new way of transporting luggage. Although walking offroad this way seems uncomfortable to me. But of course for such immense large travels, it's a good transport-vehicle.
